Easy to Follow Guidelines for Golf Swing
Whenever it comes to playing Golf, swing can never remain untouched. This write-up is entirely focused upon swinging a golf club, but one most crucial aspect that you need to take into account is that every golfer has a different body type and so all body-types have a different way of swinging golf.
Swing sequence and the set up are the two major sections within swing.
Set Up: While setting the launching-pad, golf stance and grip are required for the swing sequence. Following are given two important steps.
1. Grip on Club: The foremost step is to check whether your grip on the club is proper or not. If it is sticky, then you require getting it replaced immediately. Then next is, feeling relaxed while getting the grip. If the grip is firm, the tension will upsurge and the swing will not be at its best. Usually, three different grips are there and you can choose the one that suits you the best. These are The Baseball Grip, The Overland Grip and The Interlocking Grip. In The Overland Grip, the left hand’s index finger is overlapped by right hand’s little finger, while in The Baseball Grip, both these fingers meet up, but do not overlie. In The Interlocking Grip, both these fingers partly cover and interlock each other.
2. Lock a Posture: The posture should be good and the balance should be evenly distributed over the right and left leg. Before starting with the swing sequence, you need to relax your body, absolutely.
Swing Sequence: Swing Sequence involves three steps namely follow through, down and back swing.
1. Back Swing: This sequence is needed for releasing influential down swing and is done at a stable speed. The left elbow should be kept straight with club back and straight up and a deep breath should be taken before playing this swing sequence.
2. Down Swing: This sequence is done while the club is swung down and it touches the ball. The down swing should never be done using the shoulders, but should be always done using the lower body.
3. Follow Through: When the club touches the ball, the body continues to swing and this is known as follow through. After the completion of this sequence, the balance should remain equally distributed on the two legs
So, these are some easy guidelines for swing sequence which can be effortlessly followed for allowing the ball to fly through the fairway.
